Toban Emmanuel is a technology leader with nearly three decades of experience across software, data, and healthcare technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in software engineering. Early in his career, he worked in software consulting and in financial services at SIG. He then spent 18 years at Optum, rising from database and systems analyst roles into leadership. Most recently, he led AI strategy and delivery for the enterprise data management team. His team deployed AI solutions that made enterprise data easier to find and use.

He believes the best AI starts with trusted data and ends with simpler work for people. His focus is turning information into better decisions and better care.

Toban recently moved to Katy, Texas, with his wife after 23 years in the Philadelphia suburbs. Their two daughters attend college in Houston and Baltimore. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, golf, and travel, with favorite trips including snorkeling in the Maldives and safaris in the Masai Mara.
